I'm Alejandro Monroy. A filmmaker based between Toronto and Mexico. I'm pulled towards personal stories. The kind that stay with you on the walk home. My goal is to connect with the audience beyond the enteratining realm, sparking deeper. But without losing the enjoyment along the way.

I direct narrative shorts, music videos, and brand films. I'd like to do more commercial work, to keep the craft sharp.

On set I try to be calm and excited at the same time. I want to be approachable: accissible, reliable, capable. My goal is for the room to feel like a place of creation, where everyone feels acknowledged.
